What's an Empty Cup?

To some, it may symbolize lack—a life of deferred dreams and unmet expectations. But for us at LenartDigicrafts, it means something far deeper. It’s a vessel of surrender, a posture of spiritual readiness, and a quiet declaration of trust in the promises of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

These past four months have been a wild, humbling journey for me and Len—two siblings with no background in sales, no formal training in marketing, and zero experience in running a business. We're just two dreamers, really. I dream of gaining financial freedom. Len dreams of travelling and seeing beautiful places around the world.

So we built something together. I’d write the stories. She’d draw the designs. Simple. Seamless. Surely, success would follow.

But the journey has been really slow. We did not anticipate how slow it was going to be. We ran. We stumbled. We got back up and kept going. Still, the breakthrough didn’t come. There are countless strategies to learn, endless voices offering formulas for success. But how does one make a faith-based business succeed when its very nature is almost paradoxical? Can a ministry clothed as a business truly thrive?

It would've been much simpler to find another niche. But how to do that when the content manager only knows one thing—to speak about faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?

Another Part of the Field

Our answer came one day in September, when the Lord drew our attention to the vibrant ministries flourishing across social media today—young, bold voices freely preaching the word of God to an increasingly wider audience. It's truly amazing to see how the gospel is spreading really fast in these last days as we await the promised return of our Savior.

And that is precisely the word the Lord has given us—that He has plenty of workers in the field and they are pulling in a great harvest, so He's taking us to another part of His field where we can glean some of the leftover grains.

He assures us that this new calling is by no means insignificant. Because He is taking us to preach to the last group to be called into the Kingdom of God—the last who will become the first.

"So the last will be first, and the first will be last." - Matthew 20:16

Laodicea

They are rich. They rely on their material wealth and claim they have no need of anything. What could a small and seemingly insignificant brand like LenartDigicrafts possibly say to call them into the Kingdom of God? What can we offer those accustomed to luxury and worldly pleasure—when we ourselves don’t even know how to relate to them? Surely, the Lord must have made a mistake in giving us this assignment...?

But He assures us: this will be His work. From the beginning, we have dedicated this company to Him, and so He will use it for His purposes. He says this is both a marketing strategy for the business and a strategic move to call the only other Church in the book of Revelation—aside from Philadelphia—whom He explicitly said He loves to ultimately build the throne where He will sit upon His return.

Whatever His reasons may be, this is a wild and radical move for LenartDigicrafts. And if we have learned anything in the past months of operation, it is to not rely on our own abilities and strength, but to keep on clinging to God's wisdom and power. And so, we will continue to trust Him—that He is providing what we need every step of the way.

To the Church of Laodicea—rejoice, for your salvation has come! Never mind that it arrives in a humble colt of a brand. What matters is who is riding in it— none other than the Lord Jesus Christ!

"See, your king comes to you,
gentle and riding on a donkey,
and on a colt, the foal of a donkey." - Matthew 21:5
